Mrinal
It's often said that when you reach the summit of Everest, you are only halfway there - of course you have to get down as well. After months and months of preparation, workout and hike-training regimen, shelling out a couple lakhs for the training course, the gear, the tickets, tour operators not to mention climb - glacial Khumbu Icefall, Lhotse face, South East Ridge, the South Summit, the Hillary Step and the final summit attempt where you just get to spend a few moments. But don't you think the whole effort is worth those few moments on the top.

I had been to this lake in 2011, it is the most beautiful lake that I have ever seen in my life. Surrounded by glacier, the view is awesome. lack of oxygen is a big issue and breathlessness and dizziness is common. The only disappointment is that after making so much effort and many hours journey to reach here, the stop is for very few minutes.Though whole of Sikkim is beautiful but personally I would recommend trip to North Sikkim, Lachen and Lachung.

Oh that's sad Rohith. You spend so much time and money planning everything, but there are certain things that you just can't take control off. But think of the positive side - these 'between a cup and a lip' situations always motivate you to take the trip again :)
